Quickly and simply score and rank an industry group or sector based your choice of criteria using StockScore. StockScore is a modeling and scoring tool that enables you to combine multiple data items into a single value or total score for each stock in the defined universe for multi-factor, quantitative analysis.

StockScore models utilize the expansive StockSelect data item universe, which includes over 1200 variables for equity analysis (plus user defined elements). Each data element included in a model can be independently weighted, giving the user precise control over the modeling process. End results can be in the form of rankings, percentiles, deciles or quintiles and various statistical transformations can be utilized to fit any desired analysis scheme. Models can simply center around a single theme, such as estimate revision, or they can be constructed to provide complex rankings over a broad array of factors.

As are many of the components of the StockVal system, StockScore can be used as part of a total investment process. The output from the scoring system can be made automatically available within the StockSelect screening and reporting facility where it can be screened, sorted and presented with other fundamental data. StockScore output can also be included in Portfolio Reports and can be imported into spreadsheets using the StockVal's add-in for Excel®, SV Connect+. All StockScore models are regenerated with each update of the StockVal system providing constantly refreshed results.
